Why Choose Us
Children are the future of every society. There is no other better place to start nation building than from the infant years of tomorrow's leaders. It is our mission to foster originality, leadership potentials and godly virtues in the life of the children that come into our school. We strive to affect in a positive and contributive way to the shaping of the future life of tomorrow’s leaders - the children who are our heritage, and our posterity.
To groom a new generation that knows God, exemplary in character, excelling in all fields of endeavour, backed with a resilient spirit built right from the cradle to adulthood to impact the society now and help in navigating the future
A child’s first teacher from 0 – 5 years is the Parent. Therefore, we believe the role of the school is to support the parents in this task, rather than taking the task from them. We are alive to our responsibilities as partners in bringing up our pupils to become competent men and women with a well-rounded education with Christian principles. We are highly ardent to practical working relationship with the parents of the pupils in our school. This combined effort goes a long way to help all children succeed in school and become critically thinking members of society throughout their lives.
Our methodology to homework is based upon a positive partnership between home and school. It enables the child to make links between learning at home and at school. Apart from encouraging excellent work habits, it enables the school to assess how much pupils have understood and retained. When your child is home, go over his homework to make sure it is complete; discuss with them where and how the homework was done.
The Security and welfare of our pupils is paramount to us. Our school works in partnership with parents to support children in every way possible. If issues are raised within the School or a child or parent reports a situation involving possible maltreatment, we would take the matter up with the level of seriousness it deserves by referring such to the School’s Board of Trustee. The Head of School is the person responsible for co-coordinating the school’s Child Protection Policy
Assertive approach is being used to managing behaviour based upon a system of rewards and consequences. The emphasis within this is upon rewarding positive behaviour i.e. catching them doing it right, rather than catching them doing it wrong. Whenever any pupil does not respond to this approach and persist with negative behaviour, such will be reminded of the consequences and invited to make a choice about their behaviour in the light of these consequences. In an extreme behaviour, parents will be contacted to work in partnership with the school to address the situation. The code of behavior is anchored by the School Pupils pledge

PLEDGE

I will respect myself, others and the environment

I will take responsibility for my words and actions

I will strive to do my best in my daily activities

I will maintain trust and honesty with myself and those around me

I will trust God for His grace everyday

Our Policies
Social benefits of eating together in a ‘family' atmosphere is promoted by our School Meals Service. We enjoin parents to support this. The cost of school meal, the menu and payment detail is available in the school on request.
There are platforms for pupils to participate in various clubs and other activities organized by the staff and other specialist teachers or coaches invited by the school to lead some of the activities. The arrays of activities are ballet, karate, music, swimming, literary and debating, etc.
In all cases of emergency, the Head of Administration will endeavor to get in touch with the parents concerned, but if this is not possible she will act on the advice of Medical Officer consulted. However, we have School Medical Staff on ground to provide First Aid treatment to take care of minor ailment.
Generally, we do not encourage children to bring toys or private property to school. Apart from watches, no dangling jewelries should be worn in school. If ears are already pierced, studs only may be worn and in the interest of safety they must be removed. Our pupils are expected to be in their school outfits i.e. school uniform; black shoe; white socks on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays, while on Wednesdays they are to put on the school’s branded T-shirt on top of black/blue jeans and on Fridays, their sport wear with white canvas. Coloured socks and shoes other than black are not allowed.

Parents are asked to ensure that their child comes to the school appropriately and neatly dressed. All uniform are to be purchased through the school office.

Our job

  • “Our job is obvious; as in the word of Seth Godin, we need to get out of the way, shine a light, and empower a new generation to teach itself and to go further and faster than any generation ever has”
